I can't say enough good things about Trish Russell - she is fantastic! Her fitness sessions are challenging, informative & offer plenty of variety.
Trish's passion for health & fitness is evident from the moment you meet her. She is a great motivator, who offers plenty of encouragement and support to each and every person on their fitness journey.
I have been meaning to email you for the past couple of weeks so say a huge THANK YOU!!
You have really inspired and motivated me with my diet and fitness this year and as a result I feel fantastic!
This is the best I have felt in years and I am loving feeling stronger and fitter. I look forward to boxing, pt and water running each
week and it is now a vital part of my week that truly miss if I don't attend.
You are such a positive and inspiring person and a wonderful motivator and I just wanted to tell you so!
Its funny I have made a couple of, hmm shall we say, not so healthy choices - eg. Friday night, a chocolate bar at work on Tuesday etc. But the interesting part is that every time I do it, my body reacts so violently to it that I have to go back to making healthy choice. I had the worst stomach ache after the chocolate bar I felt so flat that I wont be going back there again in a hurry.
Otherwise, we are basically eating the same diet as we were on the detox - smoothies for brekkie, tuna & vege for lunch and chicken, fish or red meat and vege's for dinner. Snacks are nuts or fruit mostly. I have started having the occasional capo again but with skim milk, no sugar and no more than 1 per day; if I want another I have a soy chai latte.
I've also found my running mojo. I've been for 2 so far this week and I have some little goals that I've set for myself (I'm not a fast runner so my short term goal is to be able to run 5kms in 30 mins; I'm doing about 4 in 30 at the moment).
So all in all, I think the detox has had a positive impact on me, I'm now just more aware of what I put in my body and if I allow myself a treat I know its just a treat and to get back to normal at the next meal (plus its too uncomfortable to eat like that all the time).
Oh and if you are sending out recipes please keep me in the loop. We (and I do mean everyone in our house) loved the kidney bean, pumpkin and tomato stew)
Thanks for everything Trish, I definitely feel 100% better than when I saw you a month ago...
